Ted Baker First Bridal Collection Press Launch
I was asked by Ted Baker to create the dream wedding breakfast. I used soft flowers and flickering candles all along the table. The TB crockery was what really made it look extra special, as it’s perfect for the occasion. Wine was flowing and the Pavlova was fast devoured, whilst everyone chatted about their dream dress.
Clifton Nurseries, Maida Vale: It’s one of my favourite locations in London and a special place to me because it’s where I first held my Social Kitchen supper club.
Ted Baker’s Style Brief:
A dinner reflecting the atmosphere of a magical wedding scene, including a layout that mirrored a traditional top table.
To create this look I placed little clear glass vases along the table and inserted fresh cut flowers, in peach, blush and neutral tones to match the Ted Baker tableware palette. I scattered mercury glass tea lights, rose petals and crystals in all the free spaces to fill the table. I was very lucky to have been gifted some incredible gold cutlery from The Cutlery Commission too.
With the lights dimmed and the candles flickering, a whimsical feeling was created in the room. And the Spotify playlist 'Feel Good Dinner’ (which I am obsessed with) also helped to set the tone for the evening with a balanced mix of love/pop and soul.
As with every dinner, the platters should always be aesthetically pleasing. For this dinner I used lots of edible flowers together with colourful food choices. An essential for Ted Baker was the dessert table, lined with classic cream balloons, and no wedding would be complete without The Social Kitchen Vanilla Sponge Wedding Cake of course.
