River Island’s AW18 Collection Launch

I was excited to be asked to collaborate with River Island (RI) as they prepare to launch their fab AW18 collection. For this event, I decided to create a feast not only for the eyes and camera lenses but one which would create conversations even after the event.

My display featured two show-stopper cakes; an impressive rainbow cake and a carrot cake covered in gooey Italian meringue thank you to the Meringue Girls. My pretty pink dipped croissants also made an appearance, alongside tasty bite-sized breakfast cakes, granola pots and fruit platters.

As much as we love our sweets, I also wanted to include a savoury option for breakfast. Bagels were the perfect option, toppings included fresh smoked salmon, cream cheese, peanut butter and fruit jams.

Now to the clothes. River Island AW18 collection looked amazing, there was certainly no shortage of feathers, sequins and colour in the showroom. Influencers and members from press arrived snapping pictures of the clothes, dipped pink croissants in hand of course.
