Hot Cinnamon Peaches

When I was in Spain, someone informed me that it was Peaches and Cream Week! And yes, that is a real thing. It reminded me of what a simple but delicious dessert it is and I went straight into the kitchen to make it. 


8 large Peaches 
Handful of Cherries 
4 Cinnamon Sticks 
3 tsp Ground Cinnamon 
5 tbsp Brown Sugar 
4 tbsp Honey 


Pre-heat the oven to 180C.
Slice the peaches in half and de-pip. Place them in an oven proof dish. I like to sprinkle with a generous amount of cinnamon and brown sugar. Plant the cinnamon sticks and whole cherries in and amongst the peaches. Drizzle honey all over and place in the oven to bake for 30-40 minutes, until the peaches are soft and smell delicious. 
Serve with a jug of single cream or why not ice cream!
