FUN FEATURES FOR YOUR NYE PARTY

With New Year’s Eve so close (yet again), everyone’s been asking for tips to make their NYE party standout. I’ve been searching high and low for inspiration. Here are a few of my favourite features.

CLOCKS

Really emphasize the countdown to midnight by surrounding your guests with clocks. Get as many as you can find in all shapes and sizes and cluster them together. If you don’t have enough clocks, you can always print out pictures and stick them on the back of plates – it’s just for effect!

KISS ME KIT

When scouring for NYE ideas, I found these DIY kiss me kits, which look so cute! There is always that moment, if you don’t have a significant other that you look around the room finding no one for that “midnight kiss” and wanting to crawl under the table. This is the perfect ice breaker for all your guests as they arrive.

Tying your napkins in the shape of bows will give your table a real celebratory feel. For other ideas on how to tie your napkin go to my blog.

BALLOONS

You can never have too many balloons on New Year’s Eve! Tie them each to a chair, tie them to each napkin ring or let them float to the ceiling. A really fun idea is to tie photographs of you and your guests to the end of the string and let them hang. Its a great way to appreciate your best moments of 2017.

I love the idea of tying balloons to your napkin rings.

Buy plain white balloons and use acrylic paint, or even a marker pen to write your own messages on them.

GLITTER BOTTLES

Because we all need a bit of sparkle to see in the new year! Either cover champagne bottles in glitter spray, or use PVC glue and sequins to make your bottles glisten!
