FIG AND GOAT'S CHEESE BRUSCHETTA

There’s nothing as fail safe as a Mediterranean classic. This is a twist on the traditional Bruschetta recipe and is the perfect thing to serve as a canape or a starter. It’s wonderfully quick and easy and will be eaten up in a matter of minutes.

Ingredients

Baguette

Goat’s Cheese

Figs

Honey

Crushed Honey Peanuts

Method

Slice the baguette on a diagonal slant then toast on a tray in the oven for about 5 minutes. Chop the goat’s cheese into circles and place on the pieces of toast. Then slice the figs into halves or quarters and put on top of the cheese. Drizzle with honey and sprinkle crushed honey peanuts to finish.
